越谷技博とは
60名以上の技人が伝道師となり、述べ36日間、越谷市内の各所で8分野（食、旅、音、創、場、知、健、動）、100以上の講座を開催。
伝統の「技」から現代の「技」まで、技人の技を学びながら、その背景の「人・歴史・まち」を感じ取ることができるものづくり体験交流イベント。
越谷技博では、
講師を務める人を「技人（わざびと）」、
受講者を「学人（まなびと）」と呼ぶ。

日光東照宮へと続く、東武スカイツリーライン「越谷駅」は、浅草駅から約30分のアクセス。徳川家康が計画した日光山参詣のための日光街道を、電車で揺られる道の途中、さっと電車を降りて、改札を出れば、都会の街とは少し違う、昔カタギな人と暮らしに出会えます。
Koshigaya Skill Expo
Cultural and entertainment events, where you can experience the “skill” of people in a town that grew out of Koshigaya-juku [post town] along the Nikko-Kaido
Road. With a focus on “skill”, you can feel the people, history, and the town behind it. You can participate in small-size hands-on workshops & tour events led by more than 60 instructors,
including traditional artisans.
For a total of 36 days from November 7 through December 13 , more than 100 programs will be held in various parts of Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.
Koshigaya Station, on the Tobu Skytree Line towards Nikko Toshogu Shrine, is only about 30 minutes from Asakusa.The Nikko-Kaido Road was envisaged by Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa for the
pilgrimage to Mt. Nikko. If you hop out along the way, as the train sways along its journey, and pass through the ticket gate, you can encounter old-fashioned people and style of living:
something a little different from what you find in the big cities.
